Just beyond Cardiff, Wales Glwnfwr vineyard is this family run vineyard which had a really lovely tour and an incredible lunch provided.

We learnt about the Welsh history in the wine label, the last Welsh born Prince of Wales, pictured in full armour, atop a horse, proudly killing Englishmen.

We learnt that whilst the British wine industry has a chip on its shoulder about not feeling as good as the French, the Welsh industry has an additional one about being looked down upon by the English.

​

But despite this, the tour was really low key and informal, but the meal was the best, making this possibly one of the best vineyard tours so far.

Try their WELSH sparkling wine.  Its very good (thats coming from an Englishman).
